Please Note Regarding SS40 Ring Spots:
We currently carry two versions of our SS40 ring spots due to our transition from the original Standard Rivet inventory to our newer Bling in the Ring production.
The original Standard Rivet brand settings (currently found in Nickel Plate, Brass, Copper, Antique Brass, Antique Nickel, and Antique Copper) were manufactured with a slightly larger opening and are designed for crystals in the 8.40–8.67 mm in size, for major brands such as: Preciosa Maxima and Swarovski 2088 style stones.
Our newer Bling in the Ring SS40 settings (currently available in Nickel Plate, Brass, Rainbow and Black) were redesigned with a slightly smaller opening to better fit crystals in the 8.3–8.67 mm range, including our Aurelia Crystals and other major brands on the market.
Because crystal sizing varies between manufacturers, some imported stones labeled as “SS40” may measure smaller than expected and may not fit securely in any style settings.
